The world of secure, anywhere data-access took a massive leap forward with the recent release of AppSense DataNow. We wanted to immediately empower our existing customers with the benefits it brings, so, we made it instantly available to them as part of their existing AppSense Management Suite software subscriptions, allowing them to further leverage their investment in our world-leading user virtualization solutions, as covered in a blog by Doug Lane here – AppSense DataNow starts in the Enterprise.

Furthermore, unlike other approaches, AppSense DataNow leverages your investment in your existing storage infrastructures without the need for any data migrations in to new storage mediums as covered in a blog by Kristian Vidal here – The ‘Green’ ‘Green’ Grass of Home(drive).

Today I would like to share with you a demo of DataNow by Tom Scase.

In this demo Tom shows how you can empower your users to securely access their existing data, from any device such as PCs, Macs, tablets, and smartphones, while ensuring protection as IT remains in control.

Tom shows how DataNow means users no longer need to move corporate data and store it outside of your controls on external hard drives, USB sticks or cloud-based off premise storage solutions.  With DataNow both the user base and the business can keep all of the data exactly where it is while still providing controllable access…

.. enjoy:

With DataNow;
– Increase user productivity by empowering them to access the data they need, from any device
– Optimize existing IT investments by enabling users to securely connect to data where it already resides
– Zero data migration required! Just connect, control and empower.
